Job Description

Main Duties include:

The Manager CV (Commercial Vehicles) Sales is responsible for the management of sales-related activities for CV. Daily activities include overseeing the day-to-day creation of CV sales strategies. (S)he is responsible for the studying of sales numbers to assess how successful CV sales strategies are and to make adjustments as necessary. The incumbent provides direction for CV sales targets & KPI’s and is accountable for the overall CV sales performance, the achievement of CV sales goals and targets, the alignment of the business’s strategy and contributing to sustainable revenue growth by constantly maximizing market penetration.

The incumbent plans all aspects of an organization's CV sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Directs CV specific planning, forecasting, sales programme development, partner relationship development and customer satisfaction initiatives. Establishes short and long-term CV sales goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives. Identifies key competitive strategies that will enable achievement of maximum CV sales volume.

The incumbent will be the face of the company when dealing with the CV Dealer Network, Fleet and Government customers, and assist in providing the respective parties with solutions to their business and improving the relationship with IMSAf. Furthermore, the position has the responsibility to monitor market trends and to manage the CV sales and distribution forecast and manage the respective model contributions to the company’s income statement.

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration/Sales and Marketing
  • 5 - 10 years Sales and Marketing experience, 5 years in management role in the Motor Industry
  • Flexibility and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the motor industry and the transport legislation.
  • Understanding of the complex nature of the commercial aspect of the motor industry
  • Creative Sales background
