Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • NQF Level 4 
  • 2 years’ leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Automotive seating experience (Advantageous)
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A working knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System
  • Problem solving techniques / Analytical
  • Ability to manage people
  • Basic administrative skills

 

DUTIES:

  • Lead the team to meet mission, vision and values of the Company
  • Lead the team to meet and / or exceed the daily / weekly QSCM targets
  • Create an empowered team which makes decisions and solves problems (suggestions and continuous improvement)
  • Ensure FIFO
  • Demands improved service from suppliers.
  • Looks for ways to improve service to customers and knows customer rating
  • Maintain and manage health, safety, environmental and ergonomic standards
  • Provide on the job training to subordinates
  • Management of subordinates (attendance, absence control, discipline)
