Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric/NQF 4 (Minimum)
  • 5 years wages payroll experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of VIP/SAGE 300 People
  • Experience with SQube (Time & Attendance) and Absolv systems (ADVANTAGEOUS)
  • Sound knowledge and experience in management and control of payroll creditors including reconciliation thereof (i.e. UIF; SARS; Medical Aid etc.)
  • Experience and understanding of MIBCO Main Agreement
  • Computer literate - Advanced (MS Word, Excel)
  • Strong administrative skills

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitating weekly wages input into payroll system and ensuring requisite approvals in line with Company policy and the provisions of the Main Agreement and/or applicable legislation
  • Facilitate and manage payroll creditor payments and reconciliations
  • Monitor, control & update time and attendance system (including issuing clock cards/uploading biometrics)
  • Provide support and clarity on any pay related queries and facilitate corrections where necessary
  • Manage Masterfile data (annual tax tables, medical aid contribution schedules, annual increases etc.)
  • Ensuring legislative compliance
  • Assist and support all reporting (weekly and monthly)
  • General administration: filing, record retention etc.
  • Providing general support to HR Department as and when required
